TEK Precision has manufactured flight control and transmission components since the mid-1990s, when the business focus shifted toward this class of work for Sikorsky rotorcraft. Production combines multi-axis milling on machining centres including a Hitachi Seiki HC 400 horizontal centre, an Okuma MC-500H, and Fadal VMC3016 vertical centres, with turning operations for cylindrical features. Bushing and bearing installation is performed under documented process control. Where a link assembly requires structural adhesive bonding, TEK is approved to Sikorsky specification SS8669 for all classes of structural adhesive bonding.
