TEK Precision operates a complete Johnson thread gaging system covering #10 through 2.500, qualified for Method "C" and safety-critical thread inspection — a capability that distinguishes TEK as a certified threaded fastener facility.
Thread verification draws on more than 300 thread plug gauges and more than 300 thread ring gauges spanning 4-40 through 7.000, each with a corresponding thread setting plug, supported by precision thread measuring wires and thread pitch micrometers from 14 through 32 pitch.
Machining is performed on CNC turning centres with finish grinding on Tschudin cylindrical grinders. Where a rod end incorporates a bearing, installation is performed under documented process control with press operations on Sunnen hydraulic presses rated to 10,000 pounds.
